Designed for light trucks and SUVs in towing applications. The Rockies series of brake kits pairs the RK205 brake pads with either the 100 or 130 series one-piece rotors to deliver heavy duty stopping power for virtually any terrain your adventures take you on.
Use for: Heavy vehicles (Light Trucks & SUVs) and CUVs when towing and carrying loads. Ideal for all roads, including mountainous and hilly areas.

THE Pads
How do the pads measure up?
Remmen Brakes pads are tested under the most stringent of tests. The AK MASTER test is an industry standard test that is quite aggressive and reveals minute flaws in compounds.
Test results for the Rockies RK205 compound reveal a workhorse of a compound. Friction profile is stable and predictable across a variety of temperature ranges. It’s resistance to fade is comparable to the high-end products of competitors. A respectable pad wear-rate and a great rotor wear-rate means long-lasting braking power.

100 - Plain & Coated
Plain and coated for superior resistance to corrosion in virtually any environment and smooth, quite, vibration-free operation.
130 - Cross-drilled, Slotted & Coated
Cross-drilled, slotted and coated for increased airflow and pad gas management. Expect cooler rotor temperatures, increased fade resistance, better brake bite. Expect slightly more noise than the plain B100 rotors.

AVAILABILITY
Rockies kits are available for either the front axle, rear axle, or the entire vehicle. Every kit comes with the rotors in either plane or cross-drilled and slotted along with the Rockies RK205 brake pads. Any shims for the pads will be included where necessary.
